Mission
World University & School's (http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/World_University - like Wikipedia with MIT Open Course Ware) - mission, in reaching out to the entire world, is to provide a free, wiki-based education platform and, through facilitating the development of broadband worldwide, to make our service accessible to under served parts of the world. The WUaS mission is thus to facilitate all levels of teaching and learning opportunities (and future degrees) through an open, editable wiki in all languages, nation-states and subjects with great universities, and for One Laptop per Child countries and everyone.
World University and School Internship Positions
World University and School Internship positions
We're looking for a research assistant to do background research in emerging issues, and current trends related to World University and School. This effort will result in a wiki of related resources, perhaps a deeper dive on certain key issues, and possibly a short brief on a particular topic.
Candidates with academic backgrounds (U.C. Berkeley, Stanford University, MIT, Harvard) are desired; experience managing and editing wikis is a plus. The position is expected to be part time from now through the spring, and there is a potential for the position to extend into the summertime.

Academic Year Intern/Research Assistant Information and Eligibility:
- Interns/RAs do not have to be students.
- Interns/RAs do not have to be affiliated with Harvard University. We do not have the ability to provide authorization to work in the U.S.
- We are unable to hire Interns/RAs who live and will conduct their work outside of California.
- The typical wage will be $11.50 per hour.
- Time commitments typically, but do not always, range from 8-12 hours per week.
