- Wiki (editable web pages, like Wikipedia), to integrate great universities' open educational resources, especially MIT OCW's, as well as facilitate people-to-people teaching and learning.

- Use the newly developing WikiData (http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikidata) for the 'back end,' and WikiBase (http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Wikibase_Client) for the 'front end,' of the World University and School wiki; WUaS will probably become 'an instance of Wikibase.'

- Find, or build, a wiki 'front end' especially with output to a small, 2x3 inch screen, as wiki, on 'obscure' internet phone browsers (e.g. like Palm OS, etc.), with UniCode, for the developing world and in symbols from all 200205+ countries and in 3000-8000+ languages, - given the benefits of wiki in terms of openness and group knowledge production, especially in the developing world. (Wikipedia is in around 284285 languages, by way of comparison).

- For the 'You at WUaS' main page - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/You_at_World_University - use Quickbooks for Nonprofits to start as the 'backend,' and to manage communications, donor support, and to pay interns, and eventually as 'secure registrar,' for grades and transcripts (developing this as needed), and then add other Intuit software (see http://quickbooks.intuit.com/product/accounting-software/nonprofit-accounting-software/) to develop the Bookstore and used/new Computer store (http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Bookstore_/_Computer_Store_%28New_%26_Used%29_at_WUaS). Quickbooks is probably in many countries and currencies already. Integrate this database with WUaS's 'instance of Wikibase' ... and with MIT?

- plan for Android / iPhone / Connect / smart phone mobile internet devices with video, as well as tablets, and for VOICE and group text chat for the Conference Method especially on handheld internet phones with browsers - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Conference_Method_of_Teaching_and_Learning - for teaching and learning, as the bare minimum hardware to begin to study for a MIT OCW-centric Bachelor's degree (perhaps for the first semester of an 8 semester Bachelor degree program).

- prioritize for DESIGN (like Apple has) & robust information technological development in hiring, as we aim for possibly 2-5 billion Universitians on the SCHOOL idea-social network side of WUaS, and for around at least 2000 (and scalable) undergraduate students (e.g. http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/The_College_at_World_University_and_School) on the UNIVERSITY, free, degree-granting side, first matriculating in 2014, with MIT OCW for course curriculum (32 15 week MIT OCW courses over 4 years).

- WUaS, Wiki, Universal Translator, building on Google Translate, Sugar Labs' Translate, and other language translation projects.

- Develop a robust Computer Science department (subject), - whohttp://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Computer_Science - whose graduates and students will eventually develop WUaS.

- plan to develop html code for assistive technologies, from the beginning, and as the internet develops (http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Assistive_Technologies) ...

- Translation between all languages. Build on Google Translate + for translation? Be able to add Languages wiki-like. Hire coders to do this.

- WUaS ability to provide high bandwidth infrastructure for OLPC countries, and well as printable materials.

- a filter for all free, online educational services; While WUaS has a great universities' OER focus, WUaS is wiki-addable for, for example, a comprehensive and updated database of available courses and individuals who are willing to teach or mentor; a metadirectory for free, open courses, courseware and OER and in all 7413 languages and at least 205 countries; WUaS is course-centric. WUaS has a specific focus on this wiki list of great universities' ocw and oer at present - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Courses#University_course_listings - as a robust program.
