Minutes for Dec 9 2017 World University and School Monthly Business Meeting



Present: 
-       Larry Viehland (Board Chair and CFO/Treasurer of World University and School) 
-       Scott MacLeod (President, Clerk, Recording Clerk of World University and School; And Founder/Facilitator of the emergent WUaS Corporation as it forks from World Univ & Sch)




Minute 1

This autumn 2017, World University and School will use Pass/Fail for grades and not other forms of grading.


Additionally World Univ and Sch seeks to further define what an independent study of a ocw.mit.edu course will entail vis-à-vis (faculty?) proctoring, tutoring, mentoring or advising – or by coding for this eventually (think edX) 


Minute 2 


World University and School has inquired if Stanford Medicine could 

create CC OpenCourseWare (like CC MIT OCW in 7 languages) in ~200 countries official languages for online WUaS Medical Schools with online teaching hospitals, 

(Scott MacLeod has been invited to give a Stanford MedicineX talk about this in April 2018).



Minute 3 

Nonprofit 501 c 3 World University and School has been informed by Google that we’ll get a knowledge panel with DONATE BUTTON. World Univ & Sch also has Google Education Suite. 

(In the WUaS forking process, A) World University and School (a 501 c 3) would like to inquire if potentially (and/or with MIT) Stanford could run the B) WUaS Corp (a general stock company) in ~200 countries and 7,099 living languages as academic markets, and for Stanford to send WUaS a check.



Minute 4

WUaS seeks to inquire whether we might combine a secure Wikidata enduser profile (in its 299 languages with communities) for T Tomato for grading soon as a beginning for planning for 7.5 billion people in ~200 countries’ official languages, and learners in all 7,099 living languages – potentially in collaboration with Google Plus?
