Mission
 
World University & School's (http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/World_University - like Wikipedia with MITbest OpenSTEM-centric Course WareOpenCourseWare) - mission, in reaching out to the entire world, is to provide a free, wiki-based education platform and, through facilitating the development of broadband worldwide, to make our service accessible to under served parts of the world. The WUaS mission is thus to facilitate all levels of teaching and learning opportunities (and future degrees) through an open, editable wiki in all languages, nation-states and subjects with great universities, and for One Laptop per Child countries and everyone.

We're looking for a interns and research assistants to develop World University and School. This effort will result in a wiki of related resources, with many deep dives on issues relating to developing a online, multilingual, free to students university and school, and possibly short briefs on particular topics.
 
Candidates with academic backgrounds (U.C. BerkeleyYale, Stanford University, MIT, Harvard) are desired; experience managing and editing wikis is a plus. The positions are expected to be part time from now through the spring, and there is a potential for the position to extend into the summertime.
