One vision for One Laptop per Child / OLPC - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/One_Laptop_per_Child_-_XO_Laptop_-_$100_Laptop_-_MIT - was to make rugged computers available to the 2 billion poorest children in the world, which focus on literacy and computing access for the poor is a remarkable action to eliminate poverty.
